Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of hotel or resort culinary experience
  • Must have unexpired Food Handlers' certification
  • Ability to stand for 8 or more hours per day
  • Flexible scheduling to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to efficiently lead a team
  • Display basic knife skills
  • Ability to multi-task

Job Duties

  • Opening and closing of kitchen
  • Help develop additions to menu
  • Training of staff
  • Assist Executive Sous chef with product availability for all concessions and banquet items
  • Help direct proper sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
  • Help ensure that all kitchen equipment is in good working order
  • Assist with proper maintenance of all walk-in coolers including rotation of food products and cleanliness
  • Monitor and assist with management of daily food production
  • Monitor safety of staff
  • Maintain good working relationship with Front of the House
  • Know expectations and ensure that staff understands them and execute said expectations
  • Check and control sign-in and sign-out procedures for kitchen staff
  • Responsible for reading and executing daily Banquet Event Orders (B.E.O.s)
  • Responsible for adhering to all Omni and Trinity F&B Services policies and procedures
