Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience as a pastry chef or similar role
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • capacity to lift and move up to 40 pounds
  • strong communication skills
  • willingness to work in a start-up environment
  • commitment to high-quality food service

Job Qualifications

  • experience in culinary arts with a focus on pastry
  • ability to manage multiple kitchen stations
  • excellent organizational and communication skills
  • experience in training and leading kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • creativity and attention to detail in food presentation

Job Duties

  • prep and cook foods of exceptional quality for members and guests
  • ensure timely food service according to The Quin service standards
  • provide leadership fostering a respectful and positive work environment
  • assist Chef de Cuisine in planning and leading department operations
  • act as culinary leadership in absence of Chef de Cuisine
  • manage multiple cold and hot stations
  • assist with preparation, presentation, decoration, and storage of food items
