Job Requirements

  • At least 3 years of chef de partie or line cook experience
  • ability to work in a high-end, fast-paced kitchen environment
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation regulations
  • ability to read and follow recipes and standards
  • physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen duties
  • willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of chef de partie or line cook experience
  • experience preferably in a French fine dining environment
  • culinary training degree preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Manage one kitchen station such as saucier, hot appetizer, rôtisseur, poissonnier or soupe
  • supervise at least one cook and/or commis at the station
  • communicate directly with the chef or sous chef regarding station instructions and menu changes
  • prepare dishes according to recipes and quality standards
  • train and mentor kitchen staff at the station
  • maintain health department and food safety standards
  • uphold restaurant quality and presentation standards
