Job Requirements
- At least 3 years of chef de partie or line cook experience
- ability to work in a high-end, fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to read and follow recipes and standards
- physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle kitchen duties
- willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of chef de partie or line cook experience
- experience preferably in a French fine dining environment
- culinary training degree preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Manage one kitchen station such as saucier, hot appetizer, rôtisseur, poissonnier or soupe
- supervise at least one cook and/or commis at the station
- communicate directly with the chef or sous chef regarding station instructions and menu changes
- prepare dishes according to recipes and quality standards
- train and mentor kitchen staff at the station
- maintain health department and food safety standards
- uphold restaurant quality and presentation standards
