Job Requirements

  • Flexibility to work long hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Valid work permit or eligibility to work in Greece for the duration of the contract

  • Previous experience working in a similar role, with a focus on the hot section of the kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Greek cuisine, with experience preparing a variety of traditional Greek dishes
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, maintaining attention to detail and quality under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work long hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and execute a variety of hot dishes inspired by modern Greek cuisine, ensuring that each dish reflects the flavors, textures, and presentation standards of our restaurant
  • Work collaboratively with the culinary team to develop and refine menu offerings, incorporating seasonal ingredients and creative twists on traditional Greek recipes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the hot section of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
  • Ensure that all dishes leaving the kitchen are of the highest quality, meeting our standards for taste, texture, and presentation
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and stocking of ingredients for the hot section
