Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 - 5 years culinary experience in a similar role
- strong communication skills in English
- ability to read and follow recipes
- basic math skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- ability to lead and supervise kitchen staff
- knowledge of health and sanitation standards
- valid health card
- ability to obtain and maintain all required licenses or work cards
- minimum age of 18 years
- ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently
Job Qualifications

- 3 - 5 years culinary experience in a similar role
- preferably in a high volume luxury hotel restaurant scratch cooking environment
- extensive sanitation and culinary knowledge

- ability to prioritize organize and follow through to meet deadlines
- ability to obtain and maintain required licensing or active work cards
- high volume pastry experience

Job Duties
- Responsible for preparing and finishing foods on all stations within the kitchen
- meet quality standards as well as maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the work areas and equipment in accordance with health department standards
- assist the Chef as needed in execution of production
- properly label and date all products to ensure safekeeping and sanitation
- maintain accurate inventories while informing management of restocking needs to prevent product shortages
- notifies chef on duty prior to end of shift if unable to complete assigned tasks within allotted time
