Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior culinary training or certification preferred
  • Flexible schedule availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must adhere to food safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in banquet kitchen or high-volume culinary environment
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques including hot and cold food preparation, Garde Manger, baking, and pastry skills
  • Experience in supervising and training culinary staff
  • Exceptional attention to detail with passion for food presentation
  • Good understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes in alignment with banquet kitchen standards
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Supervise preparation of canapés, Garde Manger items, hot savory dishes, and desserts
  • Manage and supervise cooks and culinary staff performance
  • Support training and development of culinary staff
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Coordinate food production for banquets, receptions, and café needs
