Job Requirements
- Education is technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred
- at least 3 years of related work experience
- no supervisory experience required
- ability to follow safety and security policies
- physical ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- ability to lift, carry, push, pull items weighing up to 25 pounds
- maintain clean and professional appearance
- effective communication skills
- ability to support team and work positively with others

Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or substitute items
- regulate temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters
- pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator
- ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish
- maintain food logs
- monitor the quality and quantity of food that is prepared
- communicate assistance needed during busy periods
