Job Requirements
- Valid technical diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- ability to perform physical tasks including standing for prolonged periods and lifting up to 25 pounds
- willingness to follow all safety protocols and company policies
- good communication skills
- capacity to anticipate guest needs and work in a team environment
- no supervisory experience needed
- Spanish language skills preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties
- Prepare special meals or replace products
- regulate oven, grill, and rotisserie temperatures
- thaw frozen food in the refrigerator
- ensure proper portioning, plating, and garnishing of food
- keep food records
- monitor food quality and quantity
- communicate additional assistance needed during busy periods
- inform the executive chef of surplus food for daily specials
- update food and beverage staff about rejected items and available specials
- maintain food quality
- prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation
- prepare cold dishes
- assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
- comply with safety and company policies and report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions
- maintain a clean and professional appearance
- ensure confidentiality of proprietary information
- anticipate and meet guest service needs
- communicate clearly and professionally
- foster positive work relationships
- support the team to meet common goals
- listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns
- maintain quality standards
- stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
- stretch, bend, twist, crouch, and stoop
