Job Requirements
- Red Seal or equivalent culinary certification required
- minimum 6 years of professional cooking experience including 1-2 years in a lead or CDP role
- proven experience in fine dining, banquets, and large-scale production
- familiarity with inventory control and menu costing
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to manage performance and maintain composure in high-pressure environments
- clear vision and communication for safety and coordination
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Supervise assigned kitchen stations and oversee daily food preparation and service
- direct and support First and Second Cooks in production, plating, and service flow
- ensure food quality, portioning, and presentation align with Legends' standards
- coordinate with Sous Chefs on production schedules, event menus, and special functions
- train, coach, and develop cooks to enhance consistency and technical skills
- maintain inventory accuracy, control waste, and manage station ordering
- ensure all kitchen areas, tools, and equipment remain clean, organized, and operational
- enforce HACCP, sanitation, and food safety regulations at all times
- collaborate with culinary leadership on menu innovation, presentation techniques, and efficiency improvements
- perform event and post-shift reports, ensuring all assigned sections are reset and ready for the next service
