Job Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of related work experience
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- Ability to move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds
- Compliance with company safety and security policies
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and conduct
- Willingness to perform other reasonable job duties as assigned
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Maintain adherence to sanitation and health regulations and requirements
- Meet with the Chef to review assignments and anticipate business levels
- Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Continue preparation work between meal services
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards
- Monitor food quality during preparation
- Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients according to recipes or judgment
- Test foods to determine if cooked sufficiently
- Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and garnish of food
- Serve food in proper portions
- Anticipate and communicate assistance needed during busy periods
- Monitor food and labor costs to minimize waste
- Direct and assist Stewards to maximize clean-up efficiency
- Provide new ideas and run department in absence of Chef and Sous Chef
- Use kitchen tools safely and appropriately
- Wash and disinfect kitchen areas, tools, and equipment
- Check and ensure appliance and food temperatures
- Follow company safety and security policies
- Report maintenance needs, accidents, or unsafe conditions
- Maintain clean and professional appearance
- Welcome and acknowledge guests
- Use clear and professional communication
- Support team goals
- Listen and respond to employee concerns
- Ensure adherence to quality standards
