Job Requirements
- Prior culinary school and/or kitchen experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Food Handler's License Certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions including extreme temperatures
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stretch periodically
- Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs
- Ability to hear and speak clearly to communicate with guests and co-workers
Job Qualifications
- Prior culinary school education or kitchen experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment
- Kitchen supervisory experience preferred
- Food Handler's License or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation standards
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to various shifts including nights and weekends
- Motivated, proactive, and professional attitude
Job Duties
- Manage kitchen operations including expediting orders
- Maintain quality control of all food items
- Train and guide line staff to ensure compliance with laws and standards
- Provide hands-on support during service
- Organize and clean back of house areas
- Prioritize, organize, and delegate work assignments
- Complete daily reporting and analytics as required
