Job Requirements

  • Prior culinary school and/or kitchen experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Food Handler's License Certification or ability to obtain it within 30 days
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions including extreme temperatures
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stretch periodically
  • Ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs
  • Ability to hear and speak clearly to communicate with guests and co-workers

Job Qualifications

  • Prior culinary school education or kitchen experience in a similar restaurant or hospitality environment
  • Kitchen supervisory experience preferred
  • Food Handler's License or willingness to obtain within 30 days
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation standards
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to adapt to various shifts including nights and weekends
  • Motivated, proactive, and professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Manage kitchen operations including expediting orders
  • Maintain quality control of all food items
  • Train and guide line staff to ensure compliance with laws and standards
  • Provide hands-on support during service
  • Organize and clean back of house areas
  • Prioritize, organize, and delegate work assignments
  • Complete daily reporting and analytics as required
