Job Requirements
- Education level not specified
- must have at least three years’ experience in a high volume luxury hotel or equivalent
- previous leadership experience or leadership development program participation
- ability to run kitchen operations in absence of Sous Chef
- physical ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- willingness to stand and walk throughout shifts
- flexibility to work in all kitchen areas
- strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- willingness to motivate and lead team
- ability to communicate professionally via company email
- must complete tasks with 100 percent attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Previous leadership experience or participation in a leadership development program
- at least three years’ experience in a high volume luxury hotel or equivalent
- ability to run all aspects of the kitchen in the absence of a Sous Chef
- ability to expedite the pass during service and correct issues
- skill in leading cooks on preparation and presentation of dishes
- ability to accomplish butchering needs for meat, fish and poultry
- ability to train staff on station set up, cooking techniques and cleaning routines
Job Duties
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- adjusts recipes according to business levels
- properly stores, rotates and maintains products
- carries out any other duties as assigned
- checks quality and quantities of product on all stations and directs cooks to correct mistakes
- supports other stations during peak business volume
- supervises cooks and provides clear direction and training
