Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior culinary school or relevant kitchen experience
  • flexible working hours including nights and weekends
  • ability to work standing for long periods
  • capable of working in hot and cold environments
  • able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
  • able to bend, kneel, stretch periodically
  • must have or obtain Food Handler's License within 30 days
  • clear verbal communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • prior culinary school or kitchen experience in a similar environment
  • prior kitchen supervisory experience is a plus
  • flexible with working various shifts including nights and weekends
  • ability to guide and train staff effectively
  • holds or can obtain a Food Handler's License certification
  • motivated and proactive with professionalism
  • strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • expediting kitchen orders
  • controlling quality of food and presentation
  • training and supervising line staff
  • supporting culinary leadership in kitchen management
  • organizing and maintaining cleanliness of back-of-house areas
  • prioritizing and delegating work assignments
  • performing minimal daily reporting and analytics
