Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior culinary school or relevant kitchen experience
- flexible working hours including nights and weekends
- ability to work standing for long periods
- capable of working in hot and cold environments
- able to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- able to bend, kneel, stretch periodically
- must have or obtain Food Handler's License within 30 days
- clear verbal communication skills
Job Qualifications
- prior culinary school or kitchen experience in a similar environment
- prior kitchen supervisory experience is a plus
- flexible with working various shifts including nights and weekends
- ability to guide and train staff effectively
- holds or can obtain a Food Handler's License certification
- motivated and proactive with professionalism
- strong communication skills
Job Duties
- expediting kitchen orders
- controlling quality of food and presentation
- training and supervising line staff
- supporting culinary leadership in kitchen management
- organizing and maintaining cleanliness of back-of-house areas
- prioritizing and delegating work assignments
- performing minimal daily reporting and analytics
