Job Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of combined professional hospitality or kitchen experience and culinary training
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Commitment to obtaining food safety certification within 6 months if not currently certified
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Consistent punctuality
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel for training and meetings
Job Qualifications
- Combined history of professional hospitality or kitchen experience and culinary training
- Ability to teach and develop others positively
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills
- Strong technology skills including Microsoft Office
- Passion for food and commitment to food safety certification
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitors
- Ability to lead teams effectively and promote a positive work environment
Job Duties
- Drive and elevate culinary operational excellence and promote a passion for food culture
- Consistently communicate and model Whole Foods Market vision and goals
- Manage and expedite production within Prepared Foods maintaining quality, presentation, and food safety
- Execute operational SOPs and regional merchandising standards
- Monitor and maintain in-stock levels, promotions, and Prime deals
- Build partnerships with store leadership and team buyer
- Lead and develop team members to sustain high performance and retention
