Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a professional kitchen setting
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 100 lbs, and work in a high-heat environment
  • Manual dexterity to handle kitchen tools safely and effectively
  • Commitment to following health and safety guidelines and kitchen standards

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in a modern, high-end or chef-driven kitchen
  • Ability to adapt, learn quickly, and maintain high standards during peak service
  • Strong communication skills with confidence in guest interaction and polished English proficiency
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to engage guests in a friendly and polished manner
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Food Safety certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the restaurant's standards within your assigned section
  • Interact confidently with guests during service, chef's table experiences or special events
  • Communicate menu items, ingredients and dietary information clearly and accurately in English
  • Work closely with the Chef on Duty to refine techniques and elevate the guest experience
  • Read and employ math skills to follow recipes
  • Maintain a clean, organized and efficient station aligned with modern kitchen standards
  • Prepare all broiled and sautéed food items according to standard recipes and guest specifications to ensure consistency
  • Visually inspect, select and use only food items of the highest standard in preparation
  • Keep all refrigeration, equipment, and storage areas clean and functional to comply with health department regulations
  • Maintain logs for cooling, heating, and temperature
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Follow safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions to management
  • Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
  • Utilize protective equipment and report accidents or injuries to management
  • Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance as outlined in the team member handbook
  • Perform related duties as requested by management
