Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- knowledge of hygiene and sanitation standards
- ability to work under pressure
- flexibility to work various shifts
- good physical stamina
- team-oriented attitude
Job Qualifications
- proven experience as a chef de tournant or similar role
- knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment and food safety standards
- ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- strong attention to detail and presentation skills
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- be familiar with all food items on the menu and new products on the market
- follow standard recipes and minimize waste to keep food cost in line with budget
- ensure all dishes are correctly presented and garnished before service
- ensure hygiene and sanitation standards are strictly observed
- handle, maintain and use kitchen equipment and utensils correctly
- establish rapport with guests and provide good customer relationships
