Job Requirements
- Full availability to support all shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- ability to comply with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations
- excellent interpersonal skills
- capacity to manage budget and forecasting duties
- proven leadership experience in a culinary setting
- ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- At least three years experience as a restaurant chef
- strong communication skills
- excellent organizational and leadership skills
- experience managing unionized teams
- proven success in menu development and concepting
- ability to drive team development through coaching and mentorship
- familiarity with similar-sized property operations preferred
- knowledge of Hilton brand preferred
Job Duties
- Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation and food quality
- ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- manage team member productivity and performance
- oversee cost controls and financial profitability
- perform systems management, budgeting, forecasting, and report generation
- recruit, interview, and train team members
- develop and implement new menus and individual food items
- monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, counseling, evaluations, scheduling, and recognition
