Job Requirements

  • Full availability to support all shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to comply with all safety and sanitation standards and regulations
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • capacity to manage budget and forecasting duties
  • proven leadership experience in a culinary setting
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years experience as a restaurant chef
  • strong communication skills
  • excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • experience managing unionized teams
  • proven success in menu development and concepting
  • ability to drive team development through coaching and mentorship
  • familiarity with similar-sized property operations preferred
  • knowledge of Hilton brand preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation and food quality
  • ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • manage team member productivity and performance
  • oversee cost controls and financial profitability
  • perform systems management, budgeting, forecasting, and report generation
  • recruit, interview, and train team members
  • develop and implement new menus and individual food items
  • monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, counseling, evaluations, scheduling, and recognition
