Job Requirements

  • Full availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Proven experience in culinary production and kitchen management
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and quality
  • Experience working in busy, high-volume restaurant environments
  • Relevant culinary education or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least three years experience as a restaurant chef
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities
  • Experience managing unionized teams preferred
  • Expertise in menu development and culinary concepting
  • Familiarity with Hilton brand preferred
  • Ability to schedule and manage operations across all shifts

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation, food quality, and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage team member productivity and performance
  • Oversee cost controls and departmental profitability
  • Perform general management duties such as budget forecasting and report generation
  • Select and use quality food and beverage products
  • Create and implement new menus and food concepts
  • Monitor and develop team member performance including supervision, coaching, and evaluations
  • Recruit, interview, and train kitchen staff
