Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven chef experience in high-volume kitchens
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2-3 years of chef experience in a high-volume restaurant
  • Prior hotel and union management experience preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to create and implement innovative menus
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation and food quality
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage team member productivity and performance
  • Control costs and oversee overall profitability
  • Perform general management duties including budgeting and reporting
  • Visually inspect and select quality food and beverage products
  • Create and implement new menus
  • Monitor and develop team member performance
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members
