Job Requirements

  • culinary degree or equivalent
  • minimum 5 years of professional culinary experience
  • at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • knowledge of federal and state food safety regulations
  • ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • excellent organizational skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations
  • interact with guests and clients to monitor and assess satisfaction trends and make improvements
  • stay abreast of current food trends and techniques
  • ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards
  • monitor and develop team member performance including training and evaluations
  • implement policies and procedures to control costs and increase profitability
  • oversee preparation and production of all hotel meals
