Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience including supervisory roles
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in health and safety regulations related to food service
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience in a leadership role within luxury hotel or high-end restaurant culinary operations
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Excellent organizational and team management skills
- Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Strong guest service orientation and communication skills
- Updated knowledge of culinary trends and techniques
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional certification preferred
Job Duties
- Assist the executive chef in planning and overseeing all culinary operations
- Manage preparation and production of hotel meals ensuring food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations
- Supervise and develop culinary team performance including training and evaluations
- Interact with guests to monitor satisfaction and address culinary issues
- Implement cost control measures and restaurant policies to maximize profitability
- Stay updated on current food trends and regional tastes
