Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 5 years of professional cooking experience
  • previous leadership experience in a culinary role preferred
  • valid food handler certification or equivalent
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • strong communication and team leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • 2 plus years culinary leadership experience preferred
  • 5 plus years cooking experience
  • college degree or certification in culinary field or hospitality field preferred
  • food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members
  • read write speak and understand English
  • ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them

Job Duties

  • oversee all culinary operations including menu planning and food preparation
  • manage and develop kitchen staff ensuring high performance
  • maintain compliance with health and safety standards
  • collaborate with executive chef to innovate and refine menu offerings
  • control kitchen inventory and food cost management
  • ensure exceptional food quality and presentation on every dish
  • lead training sessions to advance team skills and efficiency
