Job Requirements

  • 3 to 5 plus years in fine dining, high-end catering, private chefing, or chef de partie/sous roles
  • ServSafe or equivalent certification
  • valid driver’s license and reliable transport
  • ability to lift 40 lbs and work evenings/weekends
  • portfolio with plated dishes and sample menus
  • bonus experience with tasting menus, wine pairings, fermentation/preservation, or open-fire cookery

Job Duties

  • design seasonal, multi-course menus that spotlight origin and craft with vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free variants
  • source responsibly by building relationships with small farms and specialty purveyors and writing provenance cards for dishes
  • lead end-to-end execution including tastings, prep, packing, on-site production, plating, and service flow
  • curate tabletop details such as handcrafted ceramics and linens to create editorial luxury
  • manage a small event team including assistants and servers and set kitchen standards and timelines
  • maintain food safety, costing, and post-event wrap including inventory, cleaning, and feedback
  • represent the brand with warmth and professionalism in client communications
