Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluent English communication skills

- Ability to calculate and apply basic algebra and geometry

- Previous food experience
- Working knowledge of restaurant equipment
- State Food Handler's License
- Conflict management and negotiation skills

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university or five to six years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read write and speak English fluently
- Excellent business communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to calculate and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret instructions in various forms
- Knowledge of employment and industry-relevant laws
- Previous food service experience
- Working knowledge of restaurant equipment
- State Food Handler's License
- Conflict management and negotiation skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word Excel Outlook and other computer programs
- Excellent people skills
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills

Job Duties
- Responsible for the performance management of the Culinary Team while executing events
- Oversees the daily activities while running event
- Assists the Executive Chef to execute events
- Works closely with the Executive Chef in conjunction with special and catered events
- Manages division activities through Food and Beverage Team ensuring guest's expectations are exceeded
- Maintains efficient operations and adherence to established safety and quality standards
- Ensures safe work environment and reports unsafe conditions or equipment immediately
- Works with the Executive Chef to develop creative event themes
- Supports catering and planning with creating events
- Maintains ongoing communication with all departments and ensures all staff members are informed of updates changes and problematic situations
- Responds to internal and external inquiries and complaints and maintains favorable resident member guest and employee relations
- Protects company assets by establishing and ensuring adherence to security standards
- Assures that the team exceeds guest's expectations by being responsive engaged and following through on all requests
- Completes administrative tasks related to the position in a timely accurate and efficient manner
- Strives to deliver exceptional products and service
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Columbia Hospitality values and mission
