Job Requirements

  • Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program or equivalent
  • minimum of five years supervisory experience in full service restaurant
  • ability to obtain and maintain current ServSafe Food Manager certification
  • ability to stand and move for up to eight hours
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • clear communication skills
  • availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program or equivalent
  • minimum of five years of supervisory experience in a full service restaurant
  • current ServSafe Food Manager certification or ability to obtain and maintain it
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • knowledge of fresh, seasonal, artisanal cooking techniques
  • excellent communication and organizational abilities

Job Duties

  • Supervise and develop kitchen staff
  • ensure the proper preparation and execution of menu items
  • manage kitchen operations to meet budget goals
  • maintain high standards of food quality and safety
  • coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure excellent service
  • adapt menus based on seasonal availability and customer feedback
  • ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
