Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of culinary supervisory or management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to embrace technology and continuously learn
  • Knowledge of food concept and menu implementation
  • Budgetary analysis skills preferred
  • Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
  • Previous luxury hotel experience preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary supervisory or management experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability and willingness to embrace technology and adapt to new operating systems
  • Knowledge of implementing new food concepts and menus
  • Budgetary analysis capabilities are a plus
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Experience in luxury hotel environments is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and order all items for all menus, create order sheets and inventory systems to ensure proper stock levels
  • Manage inventory, control and breakage/loss reduction of china and equipment in restaurants
  • Assist in maintaining overall food and labor cost through recipe costing and scheduling standards
  • Execute all production and plating in a timely, efficient manner meeting and exceeding guest expectations
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations including recruiting, hiring, training, and supervision of sous chefs and cooks
  • Implement cost control measures and revenue enhancement strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality
  • Create and maintain staffing schedules ensuring appropriate coverage
  • Oversee menu development with Executive Chef, culinary innovation, and food presentation ensuring creativity and alignment with guest preferences
  • Ensure department abides by all safety and sanitation policies
  • Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
