Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-7 years culinary experience
- At least 2 years supervisory kitchen experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Computer literate
- Open availability for varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Prior experience in hotel or luxury resort kitchen preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work
Job Qualifications
- 5-7 years cooking and culinary experience
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory kitchen role
- Experience in luxury resort or hotel kitchen preferred
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Computer literacy
- Experience in scheduling and production planning
- Knowledge of recipe management, procurement, and inventory control
- Ability to work flexible, open schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience in payroll and high-volume banquet operations is a plus
Job Duties
- Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation and food presentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards and regulations
- Manage team member performance, productivity, and scheduling
- Oversee cost controls and overall kitchen profitability
- Perform general management duties such as systems management, budgeting, forecasting, and report generation
- Visually inspect and select quality food and beverage products
- Create and implement new menus and food items
- Recruit, interview, develop, and train kitchen staff
