Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years culinary experience
  • At least 2 years supervisory kitchen experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Computer literate
  • Open availability for varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Prior experience in hotel or luxury resort kitchen preferred
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with kitchen work

Job Qualifications

  • 5-7 years cooking and culinary experience
  • Minimum 2 years in a supervisory kitchen role
  • Experience in luxury resort or hotel kitchen preferred
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Experience in scheduling and production planning
  • Knowledge of recipe management, procurement, and inventory control
  • Ability to work flexible, open schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Experience in payroll and high-volume banquet operations is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead daily culinary production including meal preparation and food presentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards and regulations
  • Manage team member performance, productivity, and scheduling
  • Oversee cost controls and overall kitchen profitability
  • Perform general management duties such as systems management, budgeting, forecasting, and report generation
  • Visually inspect and select quality food and beverage products
  • Create and implement new menus and food items
  • Recruit, interview, develop, and train kitchen staff
