Job Requirements
- Degree from an accredited culinary institute preferred but not required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 4-7 years executive-level culinary management experience required
- Minimum 2-3 years culinary management experience in a multi-unit setting required
- ServSafe Certification
- Ability to communicate clearly with diverse individuals
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, food products, and kitchen equipment
- Passion for food trends, flavors, innovation, and recipe development

Job Duties
- Focus on food safety by using Marko audits to ensure a safe kitchen compliant with health department expectations
- Plan menus 4-6 weeks in advance, ensuring variety and budget compliance
- Conduct accurate weekly inventory and monitor food cost trends, collaborating with leadership to maintain budget
- Lead training and development of new hires and delegate follow-up to ensure skill and culture fit
- Ensure timely completion of all sanitation and standards checklists
- Work with Café Manager and Director to enforce staff accountability to standards and recipes
- Delegate and oversee daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- Be available to cover all shifts and blackout days during the school year
- Communicate effectively with management regarding people, product, or maintenance issues
- Align food offerings with Harvest Table Culinary Group's core pillars and menu commitments
- Implement and monitor menu and inventory management systems, ensuring cost control and loss prevention
- Ensure compliance with Operational Excellence fundamentals including waste management, standard menus, and labor standards
