Job Requirements

  • Passion for food and culinary arts
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to lead and manage a dynamic culinary team
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written
  • Flexibility to work in a 24-hour operational environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety

Job Qualifications

  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in culinary arts or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar culinary leadership role
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate a team
  • Strong knowledge of culinary operations and high-volume kitchen management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage financial performance and optimize budgets

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the entire kitchen operation
  • Develop and innovate menus that reflect creativity and quality
  • Ensure food preparation and presentation meet high standards
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to optimize guest experience
  • Monitor and manage kitchen staff performance and development
  • Oversee inventory, cost control, and budget management
  • Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations
