Job Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in high-volume, upscale-casual restaurants
- at least 2 years of high-volume restaurant experience in a Chef-de-Cuisine, or equivalent, role
- a Bachelor's degree in the Culinary Arts, or equivalent work experience
- advanced knife skills and familiarity with all culinary techniques (grilling, roasting, braising, sautéing, baking, etc.)
- extensive culinary knowledge, including seasonal ingredient expertise, flavor pairing, and presentation techniques
- previous experience with wood-fired cooking, a major plus
- must have a current ServSafe Manager Certification
- must be at least 21 years old
- must have open availability - including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must have the ability to regularly work 50-ish hours per week
- physically able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and keep up with the pace of busy kitchen
- must have a valid driver's license and sole access to a personal vehicle
- familiarity with Toast, 7Shifts, and Margin Edge, a major plus

Job Duties
- Hire and develop a high-performing kitchen team
- ensure consistent five-star food quality
- maintain a squeaky clean and organized kitchen
- control food and labor costs close to ideal targets
- collaborate on menu innovation with the executive chef
- mentor and manage kitchen staff
- oversee kitchen operations during busiest shifts and special events
