Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of professional cooking experience
- Prior leadership experience in a kitchen setting
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional culinary creativity and knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Knowledgeable about food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
- Develop creative and seasonal menus that align with the resort's culinary vision
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and professional growth
- Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
- Monitor food inventory and control costs to achieve budgetary goals
- Collaborate with management and other departments to enhance the overall guest dining experience
- Participate in hiring and performance evaluations of kitchen personnel
