Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum of five years of professional cooking experience
  • Prior leadership experience in a kitchen setting
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef in a luxury resort or high-end restaurant environment
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Exceptional culinary creativity and knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Knowledgeable about food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage kitchen operations efficiently and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Develop creative and seasonal menus that align with the resort's culinary vision
  • Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and professional growth
  • Enforce strict hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols in compliance with health regulations
  • Monitor food inventory and control costs to achieve budgetary goals
  • Collaborate with management and other departments to enhance the overall guest dining experience
  • Participate in hiring and performance evaluations of kitchen personnel
