Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of culinary supervisory or management experience
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • ability to learn and adapt to new technology and operating systems
  • experience implementing new food concepts and menus
  • knowledge of budgetary analysis is a plus
  • luxury hotel experience is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare and order all items for all menus
  • create order sheets and inventory systems to ensure proper stock levels
  • manage inventory, control, and breakage/loss reduction of china and equipment
  • assist in maintaining food and labor cost through recipe costing and scheduling standards
  • execute production and plating efficiently, meeting guest expectations
  • oversee daily kitchen operations including recruiting, hiring, training, and supervising sous chefs and cooks
  • implement cost control measures and revenue enhancement strategies to maximize profitability
  • create and maintain staffing schedules ensuring appropriate coverage
  • oversee menu development and culinary innovation ensuring creative, on-trend offerings
  • ensure department compliance with all safety and sanitation policies
  • deliver exceptional guest experiences and create WOW moments
  • perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs
