Job Requirements
- Associates degree or higher preferred in Culinary Arts
- Minimum 2 years at a Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef level management position of a 4 star establishment or higher
- Serve Safe certified food manager
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi, Birchstreet or similar programs
- Clear, positive, energetic communication skills
- Customer service experience
- Prior admin experience preferred

Job Duties
- Responsible for all outlet food operation, production, monitors and has hands on control over daily food production
- Responsible for product availability for all outlet items
- Directs and delegates to AM and PM Supervisors
- Provide kitchen support for banquet functions
- Oversee proper handling and tracing of banquet food returns at end of functions
- Scheduling of staff according to budget and business forecast
- Stays current on food trends and plating presentations
- Assist in menu development and recipe development
- Develop additions to menu
- Training of staff
- Familiar with local food codes and directs proper sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment
- Follows local health standards and Ecosure requirements
- Ensures that all kitchen equipment is in good working order
- Reports non-functioning equipment
- Directs proper maintenance of all walk-in coolers (rotation of food products and cleanliness)
- Take action on any reasonable request by Executive Chef
- Monitors safety of staff
- Maintains good working relationship with all outlet managers
- Conducts daily meetings with servers and kitchen staff to discuss additions to menu and to resolve any operation concerns
- Knows expectations and ensures that staff understands them and that they execute said expectations within the proper guidelines
- Checks and controls sign-in and sign-out procedures for kitchen staff
- Conducts kitchen department meetings
