Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years culinary experience in hotel or resort environment
- Ability to manage high-volume food production
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of culinary experience in a hotel or resort environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume production while maintaining exceptional quality
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, food products, and kitchen equipment
- Proven experience fostering professional, respectful working relationships
Job Duties
- Actively participates in daily food preparation and cooking to ensure consistency and quality
- Provides daily leadership and oversight to the culinary team
- Collaborates closely with Front of House leadership to consistently exceed guest expectations
- Evaluates team conduct and provides ongoing coaching to support growth and accountability
- Ensures strict adherence to safe and sanitary food handling practices
- Maintains high standards of workstation organization, equipment cleanliness, and overall kitchen safety
