Job Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent in culinary or related field
- Minimum two years culinary experience
- At least one year supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write reports and procedure manuals
- Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
- Flexible availability including holidays, nights, and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in culinary arts or related field
- Minimum two years of culinary experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to present information effectively and respond to questions from management and clients
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
Job Duties
- Supervise daily kitchen activities including menu development, food preparation, and kitchen operations
- Provide guidance and daily supervision to kitchen staff
- Support and administer operational goals and monitor performance
- Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with managers on scheduling concerns
- Create and produce menu items ensuring kitchen is fully stocked and ready for service
- Support compliance with departmental budgets and cost control methods
- Promote and demonstrate superior customer service in line with company standards
- Monitor customer service standards and address issues promptly
- Assist with maintaining attendance records and other administrative duties
- Ensure compliance with health department standards and regulatory requirements
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
