Job Requirements

  • Minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum management experience - 2 years
  • Minimum functional experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • Ability to lead large teams and manage logistics
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Effective communication skills
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced airport lounge environment

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience managing large-scale culinary operations and teams
  • Strong culinary management background in upscale restaurants or catering
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong coaching and employee development abilities
  • Passion for food and culinary innovation

Job Duties

  • Support the culinary program within the upscale, high-volume lounge
  • Lead a team of 50-60 culinarians including chefs and sous chefs
  • Oversee financials and cost control measures
  • Implement Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality/presentation
  • Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • Ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety compliance
  • Utilize automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
