Job Duties
- Create and implement vision for service excellence in dining
- Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction within dining program
- Identify, benchmark and leverage best practices of customer experiences within dining program
- Develop and maintain effective relationships and two-way communication with residents and families
- Communicate company vision and strategy to align daily activities
- Create and prepare high quality meals using fresh ingredients and scratch recipes
- Demonstrate senior culinary leadership using advanced cooking techniques and diverse cuisines
- Develop seasonal menus aligned with regional preferences
- Supervise culinary department operations daily and report to Food and Beverage Director
- Full responsibility for culinary team including cooks and production associates
- Maintain kitchen, storerooms, and scullery cleanliness per health codes
- Serve as morning or evening cook as needed
- Maintain inventory control of kitchen wares, equipment, and supplies
- Ensure safe working condition of all food service equipment
- Purchase food and non-food supplies from approved vendors
- Direct cooks and utility workers
