Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume (over 10mm annually), upscale dining environment
  • strong knowledge of OSHA and local health department regulations
  • expertise in cost control, labor management, and kitchen efficiency
  • culinary school graduate or equivalent experience preferred
  • strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentation meet the company's high standards
  • execute innovative, seasonal menus that align with our brand and guest expectations
  • lead, train, and mentor the culinary team to maintain excellence in execution and kitchen efficiency
  • manage kitchen staff scheduling, hiring, and performance evaluations
  • control food and labor costs while maximizing efficiency and productivity
  • maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and a top-tier guest experience
  • monitor inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to maintain quality and cost-effectiveness
  • partner with the Executive Chef and corporate team on staffing, training, and performance management initiatives
