Job Requirements

  • Valid Food Handlers card required
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in culinary leadership role
  • Ability to work Thursday through Monday, 10:00am to 6:30pm
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality food standards
  • Ability to manage multiple culinary operations
  • Experience with menu development and food cost control

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience as Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or equivalent culinary leadership role
  • Demonstrated leadership and team development skills
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to develop creative and upscale menus
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience managing food costs and budgets
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certification is a plus

Job Duties

  • Lead and manage all culinary operations for fine-dining restaurant and upscale casual Bistro
  • Oversee catering services and all other culinary programs within the community
  • Develop and implement innovative menus that meet high-quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain sanitary kitchen conditions
  • Train, mentor, and develop culinary team members to enhance skills and performance
  • Manage food costs, inventory, and budget to optimize operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure exceptional resident dining experiences
