Job Requirements

  • valid Food Handlers card required
  • experience in upscale dining or senior living culinary environment preferred
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate a plus
  • ability to work Thursday through Monday, 10:00 am to 6:30 pm
  • strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to maintaining high culinary standards

Job Qualifications

  • minimum 3-5 years of experience in Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef or equivalent roles
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • proficiency in menu planning and culinary innovation
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
  • excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences

Job Duties

  • lead culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations
  • develop and innovate menus for multiple dining venues
  • ensure food quality and safety standards are consistently met
  • manage catering services and special culinary events
  • train and mentor culinary staff to enhance skills and teamwork
  • collaborate with community management to align culinary offerings with resident preferences
  • maintain inventory, budgeting, and cost control practices
