Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years culinary leadership experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant
  • Proven ability to oversee kitchen operations efficiently
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage budgets, purchasing, and inventory
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant experience preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment
  • Proven ability to manage high-volume, high-quality operations with creativity and composure
  • Strong understanding of cost controls, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all culinary operations to ensure flawless execution of menu items and service
  • Maintain the highest standards for ingredient quality, preparation, and presentation, with an emphasis on freshness and seasonality
  • Collaborate with the Executive Sous Chef on menu innovation, seasonal features, and special events that align with the restaurant's elevated concept
  • Conduct daily line checks to ensure readiness, consistency, and adherence to specifications
  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring smooth service flow and proper staffing coverage
  • Oversee all administrative functions including scheduling, ordering, month-end inventories, and food cost analysis
  • Maintain compliance with all health department regulations, OSHA requirements, and company safety protocols
