Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Assign coordinate train and supervise kitchen staff and set-up of food production areas to maximize productivity and ensure food quality
  • Supervise kitchen shift operations and ensure compliance with all Food and Beverage policies standards and procedures
  • Ensure hotel policies are administered fairly and consistently
  • Maintain knowledge of quality products presentations and flavors
  • Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
  • Ensure adherence to local state and federal regulations including OSHA and Health Department
  • Implement the SAFETY-COVID-19 company protocol
  • Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
  • Solicit associate feedback and utilize an open door policy
  • Maintain kitchen inventory and assigned budget
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly service-oriented manner
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including proper uniform and name tag
  • Maintain regular attendance as required by scheduling and hotel needs
  • Comply with certification requirements including Food Handlers Alcohol Awareness CPR and First Aid
  • Ensure kitchen personnel fulfill job functions appropriately
  • Address and resolve customer problems efficiently
  • Minimize spoilage waste and over-production
  • Monitor Banquet and Catering activities
  • Expedite peak meal periods with a hands-on approach
  • Perform other duties as requested by Executive Chef and General Manager
