  • 7+ years of progressive culinary leadership experience in high-volume fine dining or luxury hotel environments
  • Proven ability to manage large teams
  • Strong knowledge of modern and classical cooking techniques

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee all back-of-house operations for a high-volume fine dining restaurant, ensuring excellence in taste, presentation, and timing
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to execute seasonal, market-driven menus that highlight fresh, locally sourced ingredients and align with the restaurant's established culinary direction
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a large culinary team with a focus on creativity, consistency, and accountability
  • Drive operational efficiency while maintaining exceptional guest experiences at scale
  • Manage purchasing, inventory, scheduling, and labor costs to meet financial targets
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Partner with the front-of-house leadership team to maintain seamless service and communication between kitchen and dining room
  • Support high-profile events, chef collaborations, and VIP dining experiences hosted within LACMA
