Job Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the US
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Micros POS, and Ctuit financial suite
  • Experience managing a scratch kitchen for at least two years
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Capable of supervising tavern staff and assigning duties
  • Knowledge of food products and standard recipes
  • Ability to analyze financial data and provide budgetary analysis

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of experience managing a scratch kitchen
  • General management skills including people management and financial statement understanding
  • Ability to manage expenses and shift operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, Micros POS system, and Ctuit financial suite
  • Thorough knowledge of food products, standard recipes, and proper preparation
  • Ability to supervise and evaluate team members, including disciplinary actions
  • Effective communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Plan, execute, and implement the tavern daily menu and create daily features to enhance guest experience
  • Set the tone and pace for the culinary team
  • Develop and mentor the culinary team
  • Plan and develop menus
  • Ensure quality, sanitation, food safety, urgency, productivity, and teamwork
  • Share responsibility for overall tavern results
  • Manage personal, functional, and leadership responsibilities including P & L planning and execution
