Job Requirements

  • Two to three years of post-secondary education preferably in culinary arts
  • two to three years of relevant hospitality or culinary industry experience
  • willingness and ability to work on-site in San Antonio TX
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to maintain compliance with food safety sanitation and health regulations
  • capacity to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • ability to assist with additional projects and responsibilities as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Two to three years of post-secondary education culinary degree preferred
  • two to three years of relevant experience in the hospitality or culinary industry
  • entry-level management position ideal for candidates seeking their first leadership role
  • advanced knowledge of culinary principles food production methods and industry best practices
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • demonstrated ability to lead train and motivate a team

Job Duties

  • Direct daily kitchen operations including food production preparation and presentation
  • maintain a safe and sanitary work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
  • ensure food quality consistency and portion standards are met at all times
  • recruit schedule train and develop kitchen staff provide coaching feedback and corrective action as appropriate
  • foster effective communication and collaboration within the team
  • assist the Executive Chef with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned
