Job Duties

  • Plan, prepare, and set up restaurant production areas
  • Ensure quality service and presentation of all menu items
  • Maintain mise-en-place to set standards
  • Train and direct kitchen staff to follow recipes and plating guides
  • Collaborate with Sales and Catering to create banquet menus
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Manage food costs and kitchen budget
  • Handle guest problems and complaints
  • Motivate kitchen staff and maintain team cohesion
  • Monitor work hours and control overtime
  • Assist Executive Chef with daily tasks
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
