Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or equivalent
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • Ability to work Thursday through Monday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Experience leading a culinary team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Knowledge of food safety standards
  • Commitment to quality and excellence

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience as Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, or similar role
  • Proven leadership skills in a culinary environment
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Ability to create innovative and appealing menus
  • Experience managing catering and multiple dining venues
  • Excellent communication and team-building skills
  • Valid Food Handlers card
  • ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead culinary team and oversee all kitchen operations
  • Develop innovative menus for fine-dining and casual bistro venues
  • Ensure food quality, safety, and presentation standards are consistently met
  • Manage catering services for special events and community functions
  • Mentor and develop culinary staff to enhance skills and performance
  • Collaborate with management to align culinary offerings with community goals
  • Maintain inventory and control food costs effectively
