Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training required
  • minimum 1 years of culinary experience in a banquet, catering, or high-volume hospitality environment
  • demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
  • strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills
  • comprehensive knowledge of large-scale food production, including plated service, buffets, and live stations
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with business demands

Job Duties

  • Direct and oversee all kitchen operations related to banquet and catering functions, ensuring quality and timely service
  • supervize, train, and schedule culinary staff, fostering a professional, safe and productive working environment
  • collaborate with the Executive Chef, Banquet Manager, and Event Sales team to ensure seamless execution of events
  • monitor and control the food and labor cost within the company's guidelines
  • ensure adherence to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
  • manage food purchasing, inventory, and cost controls
  • develop new dishes and support the Executive chef in that process
  • doing precise recipes in order to have a proper costing
