Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Lead and motivate your chefs in training team by modeling culinary expertise and a good attitude to always deliver delicious food
  • Oversee and uphold food quality and presentation for all business channels including walk-in, pick-up, and delivery orders
  • Oversee the quality of fresh ingredients from farm partners, manage inventory, supplies, prep lists, ordering, and quality assurance processes
  • Organize the deployment board and manage the prep schedule daily to run successful shifts
  • Execute line checks assessing readiness, preparation needs, and potential waste to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain a tight and orderly kitchen operation including storage, labeling, preparation, and all safety protocols
  • Manage kitchen facilities addressing maintenance on culinary equipment, cleanliness, and restaurant organization
  • Collaborate with the Chef Operator to manage labor and food cost
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions to build your kitchen team
  • Provide timely positive and critical feedback to your team using the DIRECT model
