Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven culinary experience in a professional kitchen
  • Leadership experience in kitchen management
  • Ability to work onsite full-time
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to quality and consistency
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a chef de cuisine or similar leadership role in a high-quality kitchen
  • Strong culinary background with expertise in both traditional and modern cuisine
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to develop innovative menus while honoring classic recipes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Lead daily kitchen operations with a focus on quality, consistency, and creativity
  • Collaborate on menu development, both preserving tradition and adding new culinary flair
  • Manage, mentor, and schedule kitchen staff to ensure optimal performance
  • Work with hotel leadership to plan and execute banquets, private events, and special occasions
  • Oversee inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships
  • Maintain food cost controls and ensure profitability without compromising quality
